Which one is a better autoresponder?Aweber or GetResponse?
I've done a detailed review on both of these autoresponders and I must say that each of them have their plus, as well as minus points.

• Price plan starts at $19 a month (or $193.80 a year if you wish to pay upfront) for the first 500 subscribers you have in your account (meaning if the number of subscribers in your account exceeds 500, you'll have to pay more every month).
• Has a feature that allows a seamless integration with Twitter and Feedburner - This is a feature that's very desirable if you are a blogger.
• Has a "Blog Broadcast" feature which allows you to automatically send your subscribers an email whenever your blog is updated (with a summary of your latest blog post).
• Has excellent technical support - where they can be contacted either via email, phone or live chat.

Cons

• Does not allow you to import your existing subscribers list from another autoresponder account.
• Does not allow automatic subscriber sign ups from self-hosted scripts.
• Requires double opt-in for every single subscriber that's added to the mailing list (meaning a new subscriber, upon entering his/her email address in the opt-in page, would be required to check his/her email account for a confirmation email, and thereafter, click on the confirmation link to confirm his/her subscription)

Pros

• Price plan starts at $18 a month (or $177.12 a year if you wish to pay upfront) for the first 500 subscribers you have in your account (meaning if the number of subscribers in your account exceeds 500, you'll have to pay more every month).
• Does not require double opt-in confirmation for new subscribers to be added into the mailing list (meaning, you can add the subscribers into the mailing list and you can start sending him/her emails the minute he/she enters his/her email address in your opt-in page).
• Can work together with DL Guard for automated email sign up after purchase.
• Integrates with PayPal & 1ShoppingCart for sales data and subscribers info (so you can send emails to your customers)
• Has an integrated online survey capability, allowing you to create surveys and send it to your subscribers to get valuable information.
• Has an iPhone application available so you can access your GetResponse account via your iPhone.
• Has excellent technical support - where they can be contacted either via email, phone or live chat.

Cons

• Each account is limited to 10,000 unique email addresses. If you have more than 10,000 unique email addresses, you will need to purchase their "Expanded Mailing List Usage" add-on which costs $4.50/month for every additional 5,000 unique email addresses.
• When it comes to message broadcast, you are limited to broadcast to a maximum of 1,000 lists per day.

As I've mentioned earlier, both Aweber and GetResponse have their pros and cons - And both have their unique features that will benefit you.
My advice as to which autoresponder service you should sign up for would be that you should compare the features of each, and choose one that matches your needs the most.
